Channeling the oral histories of the grandparents of Sonoma State students, The Mariachi Story revisits the story of the bracero workers program in a bold new form – the Mariachi opera. Featuring student mariachi singers and musicians and led by Opera/Music Theatre program director Lynne Morrow with guest director José Soto of Mariachi Barragan.
