Audition Strategies and Masterclasses for High School String Players
Please join Dr. Alexander Kahn, Director of Orchestral Activities at Sonoma State University, for the first inaugural Day of Strings at Sonoma State University. This free event will take place Sunday, October 13, at the beautiful Green Music Center at Sonoma State University. Participants will have the chance to learn about the college admissions process from the perspective of current music majors and gain insights from Dr. Kahn into how to effectively prepare for and take a college admissions audition. Members of Sonoma State’s illustrious string faculty will then lead masterclasses on standard college audition repertoire.
