In the Music Theatre Scenes class students learn from the ground up about the form of a musical and its production, including scenes, props and costumes. This spring, students will discover and present charming comedy and gripping drama by women composers and lyricists, continuing the voice area’s ongoing 2020 Songs project. 2020 Songs explores works by women composers and lyricists in honor of the 100th anniversary of the ratification and adoption of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.
