Don’t miss raucous pirates, bumbling police, and irrepressible sisters, clashing, chasing, and romancing on the shores of Penzance. A wily major general, a hapless sergeant, and a tempestuous pirate couple fight over an innocent young lad with an unfortunate birthday. Sparkling familiar tunes abound in this modern and gorgeous new production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s masterpiece.

Music Theatre Scenes Workshop- Remembering Sondheim
An evening of scenes from the late Stephen Sondheim’s numerous successful Broadway musicals. Students have selected characteristic works from all parts of Sondheim’s distinguished career, and will honor his memory with dialogue and spoken commemoration they have written. Songs from Anyone Can Whistle, Company, Into the Woods, Sunday in the Park with George, and more will highlight the genius of this award-winning and celebrated music theatre master.

Vocal Repertory Concert- Ballads, Howls, and Dreams: Vocal Compositions by SSU Students, Faculty, Alumni, and Friends
Vocal Repertory Class regularly explores all eras of music history, ranging across genres and parts of the world to broaden its singers skills and experience. In this concert, all the voice majors have the rare and exciting opportunity to perform contemporary music by their mentors and peers. They will present ten newly composed songs written by current SSU students and recent alumni.
