Jack Harlow Adkins, while pursuing his master's in voice at Indiana University, was given the great opportunity to sing abroad, in Germany, in a few professional opera performances.

"Even though we were unable to perform for a live audience, my first year at Jacobs School of Music included getting to perform ensemble roles in 3 full operas: Barber of Seville, Xerxes and La Boheme. All were live-streamed and we sung in masks. Additionally, I was cast as Don Curzio & Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro with the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Germany, singing with both advanced students and a few professionals. As a bonus, we were invited to perform 3 gala concerts with a professional orchestra, Thüringer Symphoniker Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in beautiful settings including a historic castle and a monastery built in 1250! The audiences were extremely excited to hear us as they were just pulling out of the COVID mandates and we were one of the first live performance opportunities for the local communities." -Jack Harlow Adkins

Adkins graduated from Sonoma State University's Department of Music in the spring of 2020 with a BM in Vocal Performance. He was the lead in the spring opera, Candide in 2020 as well as an actor in a supporting role in the 2019 production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
