NOMA WINDS
Youth are the Winds of Change

NOMA WINDS is Sonoma State University Department of Music's premier Youth Wind Ensemble.

NOMA WINDS offers Sonoma County-wide high school instrumentalists an opportunity for a rich cultural and educational experience. Music students currently enrolled in a band program or those who don’t have a program at their school are welcome. All currently and recently graduated high school wind, brass, and percussionists are invited to participate.

NOMA WINDS participants will engage in Small Ensemble Performances -- including clinics, MasterClasses and sectional coaching provided by the finest Sonoma State University faculty, students and pre-professionals currently enrolled in the California Teacher Credential Program for Music Education.

NOMA WINDS repertoire includes a diverse selection of literature including relevant, new, classic, reachable and challenging.

There is no fee and no audition required for NOMA WINDS members.
