In recognition of our supporters and scholarship donors, the Music and Theatre Arts & Dance departments present a free recital by scholarship recipients.
This year we are delighted to announce that we are planning on an in-person presentation as well as providing a live-stream link for those who would feel more comfortable watching online.
The event will be taking place in Schroeder Hall at 2 p.m.

2021 Sonoma State University November Choral Festival
The SSU Choral Festival is full, and we are no longer accepting new registrations.
The 2021 Sonoma State University Choral Festival will be held Friday, November 12 in Weill Hall. The festival is open to high school and junior college choirs. Please make sure to register on our Google Form .
Registration Fee
The registration fee is $150 per chorus. Checks should be payable to Sonoma State University and must be received by Friday, October 22nd.

Please join Dr. Alexander Kahn, Director of Orchestral Activities at Sonoma State University, for the third annual Day of Strings at Sonoma State University.
This free event will take place Sunday, November 21, at the beautiful Green Music Center at Sonoma State University.
Participants will have the chance to hear performances by our amazing string faculty, read great string ensemble literature by BIPOC composers, participate in masterclasses, learn about the college admissions process from the perspective of current music majors, and gain insights into how to effectively prepare for and take a college admissions audition. Workshop OverviewThis workshop, led by world-renowned conducting pedagogue Markand Thakar , focuses on developing essential physical control and building musical understanding. Participants will work with the Vintner's Chamber Orchestra - Sonoma County’s professional string orchestra - on the following repertoire:
