Winter Dances

Join us for an evening celebration of wind band music presented by the SSU Concert Band, SSU Trombone Choir and Noma Winds, SSU’s community outreach high school ensemble.

Featured works include Rocketship! by Kevin Day; The Lonely Maiden, Thomas Ruedi’s beautiful arrangement of a traditional Swiss folk tune; Balkanya, Jan van der Roost’s suite of Balkan dances, and The Pine Rivers March by Australian composer Barrie Gott, as performed by both ensembles. This event also marks the debut of the SSU Trombone Choir, led by SSU Trombone Instructor David Ridge!

Tickets are $12 for general seating. SSU students free.

*Proceeds from ticket sales help to support SSU music programs.
