Music students interested in a Composition degree pursue the Bachelor of Music Composition concentration. The Degree includes technology components – an important part of music study for composers in the digital age – the concentration attracts students who are already using technological tools in music creation but need formal training in Composition in a liberal arts setting in order to be viable as professionals within the field. The Bachelor of Music in Composition is both academically and professionally viable.
