Voice Four Year Repertoires (All Voice Majors)

Instructors: Mark Kratz, Lee Steward, and Krista Wigle

Required and Suggested Music and Texts

Freshman Requirements:

  • 26 Italian Songs (Med high/Med low), John Glenn Paton, ed.
  • Foundations in Singing by John Glenn Paton
  • One English Anthology
  • The Art of the Song Recital by Shirlee Emmons and Stanley Sonntag Sophomore Requirements: ADD
  • One German anthology
  • One French anthology

All students must have these required music and texts.

Other music will be assigned on an individual basis by the teacher. Each student is responsible for purchasing or locating assigned music for his/her lesson, plus additional copies for the accompanist/coach and the instructor. We strongly advise each student to keep an up-to-date list and notebook of repertoire studied in the lessons. Your repertoire becomes your “portfolio” for auditions and for all singing that you will do in the future.
