Advising for Transfer Students
Transfer students receive advising during one of the university Transfer Orientation sessions. Please bring a copy of your transcripts with you to the orientation (unofficial OK), to facilitate advising.
Upper-division transfers: if you have completed all GE courses at community college, you will need to take 9 units of upper-division GE in Areas 2 or 5, 3, and 4.
Lower-division transfers: must complete 60 units total in order to take GE courses at 300 or 400 level.
