Sonoma State University Department of Music faculty member Gail Hernández Rosa received recognition in two San Francisco Classical Voice 2025–2026 Audience Choice Awards, with honors connected to performances in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles regions.

On Friday, October 17, members of the Kronos Quartet will lead a masterclass during Marilyn Thompson's Chamber Music Ensembles class from 12-1:50 p.m. in Schroeder Hall. Marilyn has agreed to extend an invitation to faculty and students in the music department to attend.
