The winners for the Sixth-annual Concerto competition have been announced! We hope these talented musicians will be able to perform in concert with the SSU Symphony Orchestra during the 2021–22 concert season given the condition of what the season will look like. Thanks to everyone who entered into the SSU Concerto Competition this year!
Despite the pandemic we had a very strong field this year and the judges were very impressed with all of the submissions.
It was not an easy decision, but the committee has decided to select the following entries as winners of the competition:

Isabella Grimes, Mozart Flute Concerto
Honorable mention: Kristina Ibarra, Berlioz, Les Nuits d'été
