Kronos Quartet Masterclass

On Friday, October 17, members of the Kronos Quartet will lead a masterclass during Marilyn Thompson's Chamber Music Ensembles class from 12-1:50 p.m. in Schroeder Hall. Marilyn has agreed to extend an invitation to faculty and students in the music department to attend. 

 

Also, SSU student string quartet, Sonoma String Collective, will be performing in Weill Hall at 7 p.m. just before the Kronos Quartet's concert at 7:30 p.m on Saturday, October 18. They will perform a piece composed by Kronos member Paul Wiancko.

 

Students who attend the masterclass on Friday can request a complimentary Arts Integration ticket for the Kronos concert. Faculty are eligible for a 25% discount and SSU students not attending the masterclass can get $10 tickets to the concert. More info about discounts can be found here.
