Concerto Competition

This year eight students participated in Sonoma State's Eleventh Annual Concerto Competition. 

 

The judges (Richard Loheyde, Philip Lenberg, and Alexander Kahn) were very impressed by the level of playing throughout the evening.

 

The judges selected two winners for this year's competition:

Diego Borges (Debussy Premiere Rhapsodie)

José Palacios (Bozza Ballade)

 

These two pieces will be performed by the Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra at our September 25 (2026)  concert.
