Choral Ensemble Auditions
Fall 2026 Auditions
All SSU choral ensembles rehearse in Schroeder Hall at the Green Music Center.
- Rehearsals for SonoVoce and Symphonic Chorus (MUS 325) begin Tuesday, September 1 at 7 p.m. in Schroeder Hall.
- Rehearsals for Concert Choir (MUS 323) begin Tuesday, September 1 at 1 p.m. in Schroeder Hall.
Audition Dates
Concert Choir, SonoVoce, and Symphonic Chorus
- August 24: 2–4 p.m.
- August 25: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. and 7–9 p.m.
- August 26: 2–4 p.m.
- August 27: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Auditions will take place in Room 1047 in the Green Music Center.
Preparation
Please prepare one piece in any genre that demonstrates your tone, range, and intonation. To be considered for SonoVoce and Symphonic Chorus, singers must also demonstrate the ability to read music. Additional information about the SSU choirs.
