Band member bios:
Aidan Carroll: Aidan Carroll is a versatile and thriving bassist living in Brooklyn, NY. After landing successful stints with Donald Fagen, Warren Haynes, Fred Hersch, and other prestigious artists, the dexterous doubler has spent the last few years laying a firm foundation for stellar vocalist Lisa Fischer. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Carroll attended UCO on a jazz scholarship before setting his sights on New York City in 2006, where he sought out the guidance of John Patitucci at City College of New York. In addition to being in demand as a bassist on both coasts, Carroll has garnered notice as a composer and producer of his own music which falls somewhere in the experimental Soul/R&B/Jazz-infused landscape.
Glenn Zaleski: Glenn Zaleski is one of the most in-demand pianists on the New York City jazz scene. Originally from Boylston, MA, Glenn has made a name for himself playing with the likes of Ravi Coltrane, Lage Lund, Seamus Blake, and Ari Hoenig. In 2011, Glenn was a semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition, as well as a finalist for the 2011 APA Cole Porter Fellowship in Jazz. He attended the Brubeck Institute Fellowship program in Stockton, CA from 2005-2007, and then finished his undergraduate studies at The New School in 2009. From 2009-2011, while working towards his graduate degree at NYU, Glenn was also on NYU faculty, teaching a variety of classes and private students.
Christian Euman: Hailed as one of the “six drummers you should know about” by Revive Music, Christian Euman has definitely earned his right to be included on such a list of percussionists rising in the music scene. After graduating from Western Michigan University’s jazz studies program, Christian successfully auditioned for the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance, where he studied and performed with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Chris Potter, Jimmy Heath, Stefon Harris, and more. Christian has performed and toured with Kurt Elling, Billy Childs, Walter Smith III, Geoff Keezer, Jacob Collier, Mike Moreno, Marquis Hill, and many more. He has performed at countless music festivals throughout the States, Europe, and Africa, including headlining performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival with Elling and the Playboy Jazz Festival with Hancock, Shorter, and the Monk Fellows.
