Workshop Overview: Are you ready to elevate your singing? Dive into an immersive experience designed to shift you from thoughts to tangible ACTION! In this three-hour workshop, participants will:

  • Delve into a range of techniques tailored to electrify performances.

  • Make clear, compelling choices that deepen connection to the repertoire.

  • Engage authentically with audiences. All experience levels are welcomed!

 

Presenter: Jenni Samuelson

Jenni Samuelson, an award-winning soprano, effortlessly bridges the gap between opera, oratorio, art song, musical theater, jazz, and contemporary popular forms. Celebrated for her radiant performances and hailed by the San Francisco Classical Voice for her enrapturing stage presence, she has dazzled in over 25 lead roles with prestigious opera companies nationwide. A proud alumna of Sonoma State University (Bachelor's in Musical Theater) and Northwestern University (Master's in Vocal Performance), Samuelson dedicated years as a voice faculty member at SSU. Today, she shares her expertise at UC Merced, enlightening students in the realms of performative storytelling, music, and theater.
