Please join the Santa Rosa Junior College Orchestra, led by Cynthia Weichel, and the Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra, led by Alexander Kahn, for an amazing season finale for both groups!
The concert will take place Saturday, April 26, at 3 pm in Weill Hall at Sonoma State's Green Music Center.
The SRJC orchestra will open the concert with three pieces, Joseph Suk's Toward a New Life (featuring the SJRC Choir), McCartney's Tuesday, and Ives' Variations on America.
After the intermission, the SSU Orchestra will perform Gustav Mahler's epic Symphony No. 1, "Titan," with members of the SRJC Orchestra joining the ensemble.
This is the final concert of the SSU Symphony Orchestra's 2024-2025 concert season, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of the orchestra program at Sonoma State.
