About

Flutist Victoria Hauk loves exploring the beauty of music through collaboration with Bay Area colleagues and with the next generation through teaching.

She is an avid chamber musician and performs with groups including: One Found Sound, Avenue Winds, Areon Flutes, and Nomad Session.

Orchestras she has worked with include: Marin Symphony, Opera San Jose, Carmel Bach Festival, Vallejo Festival Orchestra, Midsummer Mozart Festival, Berkeley Symphony, California Symphony, Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, and New World Symphony. She’s held the 3rd Flute and Piccolo chair with Symphony San Jose since Spring of 2024. 

She maintains a private teaching studio and also teaches at San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Pre-College Division and Sonoma State University.

She received her professional studies diploma at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music studying with Tim Day, master’s degree in music at Lynn Conservatory studying with Jeffrey Khaner and Renée Siebert, and bachelor’s degree in music at the University of Arizona studying with Dr. Brian Luce.
