The winners of the 2022 Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra Composition Competition have been chosen!
Scores inspired by the theme "Invitation to the Dance" were submitted anonymously and were reviewed by a panel of judges that included Dr. Brian Wilson, Dr. Alexander Kahn, and Maestro Barry Jekowsky. Out of a strong pool of entries the judges identified two works to be performed by the Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra on their February 2023 Family concert, as follows:
Emerson Kimble: Divertimento for Orchestra
Jon Iten: The Main Attraction
