Professor & Director of Choral Activities, Jenny Bent and Voice Faculty, Justin Montigne co-presented a session entitled “Better Together: Strategies that allow choral directors and voice teachers to work cohesively toward the creation of fulfilling, healthy, diverse, and inclusive experiences for our students” at the California All State Music Education Conference (CASMEC) in Fresno, CA on February 18, 2022, and will reprise the session on March 3 at the American Choral Directors Association Western Region Conference in Long Beach, CA. Bent and Montigne’s session was well-received by choral colleagues and students, and they plan to present it at future National Association of Teachers of Singing events to continue the conversation with voice teacher colleagues.
