Sonoma State University alumna Madison Kaminsky reached a new stage in her career as a screen composer with The Last Eight, her first documentary score and a project that has since moved through a series of film festival screenings and recognitions.

Sonoma State University Department of Music faculty member Gail Hernández Rosa received recognition in two San Francisco Classical Voice 2025–2026 Audience Choice Awards, with honors connected to performances in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles regions.
