BM Composition
Senior Project Requirements
The Senior Project is a capstone experience in the BM Composition concentration. The range of possible projects is fairly broad, but should be representative of the composition work completed during your program of study.
Individual or group projects involving original composition, research, performance, analysis, theory, and other possibilities that bring together unique skills and proficiencies developed by the student may be considered.
Due to the unique nature of each project, students should consult with their faculty advisor/program director to determine the scope of the senior project.
Students are responsible for organizing collaborative musicians and accompanists, scheduling rehearsals, and any other aspects associated with the senior project.
The senior project will be evaluated and graded by a faculty panel composed of your studio instructor and faculty advisor/program director.
